I am filling out form 2555 and the Foreign Employer does not have EIN and I have selected "Foreign US". I can't resolve the critical diagnostic and continue to file the return. I did not have a problem with this last year. Is this a technical glitch, or am I able to bypass this somehow?

I just solved my own problem. The diagnostic triggers when income is recorded in the Wages box instead of in the "Other Foreign Earned Income" box in the "Foreign Allowances, Reimbursements, and Other Earned Income" section. All clear now 🙂
