I have a paid subscription for Adobe Pro. Seemingly at random, returns taken off Proconnect and viewed on Adobe have the most convenient, wonderful bookmarks cataloging the entire return. It's amazing, and then I will download another return from the same program, and as far as i can tell, the same way, and.. No Bookmarks. I have been going crazy trying to figure out what is causing this. Are bookmarks automatically embedded in proconnect and am i doing something to strip them or is Adobe auto adding the bookmarks just sometimes.
I would really love to just know that someone else has experienced this because I have yet to find an explanation online. Thanks,
I have a GUESS that is has to do with your default pdf printer. Your paid subscription gives the bookmarks.

Nah, they're apart of ProConnect now. I use bookmarks all of the time. I'm guessing the OP is sometimes Printing to a PDF, instead of Downloading the PDF. Printing to a PDF won't contain bookmarks.
