I have client that did not take the RMD's in 2020 due to the CARES Act. I am getting the following critical diagnostic and do not know how to correct it:
1099-R #1: New York e-file Business Rule R0505 states that the New York State withholding amount cannot be greater than or equal to the amount of gross pension distribution. Please review and modify the input or the return will be rejected by the state.
Any help with this would be much appreciated!
