Why are there critical diagnostics on my divorced taxpayers tax return requesting 'domestic partner' information for income allocation sheet saying it a MFS return cannot be filed without that information when the return is marked as single taxpayer and not MFS? The taxpayer has been divorced for the second year in a row and the return is marked single for 2018 and 2019. The 2018 return e-filed just fine with no errors especially this one but now for 2019 this is the error. Why?

If you have chosen Single as the filing status, it's not supposed to happen. Try create a new copy of the return in case something is corrupted on the back end. If this still doesn't work, contact Support and have them take a look at your return.
