Capital gains

My client received a form 1099 composite. I am trying to enter short term and long term capital gains on transactions. Since there is a lot of transactions, I will attach the form as a pdf with the file to be transmitted, but how do I enter in proconnect what is short term vs. long term?

You don't need to attach anything if they are covered transactions.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

See this article for how you can make the entries: https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/form-8949/reporting-various-unknown-acquis...
