I see there is a tax savings on a KY return by filing MFJ on federal and MFS on a combined KY return. How do I choose that KY filing in ProConnect? I noticed TurboTax Desktop does it automatically.

- Go to General > Misc. Info./Direct Deposit;
- On the input screen, click on the KY tab;
- Scroll down to the Kentucky Miscellaneous section; and
- On the line for Kentucky filing status [Override], select 6 = Married Filing Separately Combined
