Got a client whose employer screwed up and didn't enroll him in the company's new health insurance plan (changed from the old on on 1/1/23) until June 1 (when my client caught it in May). He received a 1095-B and I've entered the months covered in the "Covered Individuals" section of the input, as well as his two children (who had coverage all year). ProConnect appears to be ignoring these entries, as the 3853 worksheets are showing no coverage all year for everyone.
Did I miss something, or is anyone else seeing this problem?
Thx.
DISREGARD - WHILE PTO BRINGS THE TAXPAYER/DEPENDENT SSNS OVER TO THE 3853, IF YOU DON'T MANUALLY PUT THEM ON THE INPUT SHEET THE WORKSHEET IGNORES ALL ENTRIES.
