We have a CA-based corporation that requires a CA 100 filing (corporation franchise/income tax return).
They have a 100% wholly owned foreign subsidiary in Europe that has a foreign address.
So I got the following error when try to e-file:
Entities owned by corporations #1: California requires a complete address to electronically file. A valid address has a street address, city, a valid state abbreviation, and a valid zip code. Foreign addresses will require the return to be filed as a conventional paper return. CA - Ref #59815
I found it strange that CA doesn't allow e-file simply because we have a foreign subsidiary? Is this a ProConnect quirk or have I missed something?
