My Client is saying that it will not let them eSign the form 114a. I know this form is for their records, but they were wanting to sign electronically as well. Is this the case or is there a workaround? Thanks

Agree with Susan your client can always sign with wet ink and return a copy or the original to you.
However, 114a is not just for their records. Just like F.88479, you are obliged to obtain the duly signed 114a from your clients before you are authorized to efile the FBAR on their behalf. You, as the preparer, are also required to retain the duly signed copy for 5 years. An unsigned 114a would not do it.
