I can't seem to get a concrete answer.  I am a registered and licensed CPA in Illinois.  If I only renew my registered CPA next year do I have to change anything with my EFIN or PTIN?  Anyone know?

    Thanks,

    Chris

In MN, you are licensed as a CPA.  What is the difference between being registered and being licensed in IL?

A PTIN is renewed annually, under your PTIN account. Your EFIN is issued to your firm. If you are not changing your firm, and you are still going to be a CPA, then there is nothing to do with the IRS
