Per my conversation with Lacerte yesterday, there were apparently "a few glitches" in the proforma process this year that were discovered in December and January. So far we've discovered missing codes in 2021 for October-December 2020 healthcare coverage causing a CA health care coverage penalty due to non coverage in January. We also had a CA NOL show up in 2021 that doesn't actually exist. When we re-proforma'd the file, the NOL went away. Then there was an issue posted previously regarding a 2018 QBI passive loss carryover that actually disappeared in 2020 and carried incorrectly to 2021 as well. It would be great if Lacerte would share these inconsistencies when they are discovered so we can be aware. Not sure how many more may be out there that we haven't discovered yet. Just wanted to alert others to what we've found to date that I have not seen reported by Lacerte.
