Rejecting says my P isn't capital P and I might have other alpha letters in my PTIN. I don't. Tried modifying, erasing, entering the PTIN again and again.

If you're sure nothing is amiss but your PTIN is still rejected, you should contact Support to have them look at it.  That'd be the quickest way to resolve this.
