NJ - NY wages

The snip shows NY taxing all the wages 118,476, which is in Box 1.  But NJ takes 65,439.  Do I make those amounts sourced to each state as indicated?  thank you very much.NY NY.png

And there 'should' be a credit on one of the states for the double taxed income

NY requires 100% of the wages be shown, but only the pro rata amount is taxable. You can tell the NY amount of $53k is the pro rata amount. NJ's + NY local's =$119,323 is slightly higher than 100%(NY) because NJ includes pre-tax medical in its gross wages.

$846.36 is the amount for NJ pre-tax? Does this appear anywhere?

Did they move NJ to NY or NY to NJ?
