I need to buy a new printer after tax season to use with Lacerte. Any recommendations?
I have always used HP printers and have had pretty good luck with them over the years. A number of years ago some folks here spoke highly of Brother printers so I listened to their sage advice --------------- and hated the printer for as long as I owned it. Go with the brand you are comfortable with and do some research as to what models are in your price range. Sometimes product reviews can be helpful, but you always have to factor in that there are going to always be a couple of folks that complain about everything they purchase so take the reviews with a grain of salt.
It’s interesting you say that some people recommend Brother because that is what I’m hearing as well. I have only used HP and have been happy with them so your comment makes me think I should stick with that. My computer guy recommended a really expensive one to me and I’m not sure I need that. I will look at the reviews and see what I find. Thank you.
Consider how much printing you actually do, too. Through the years we do less and less due to paperless environment. We used to have expensive workhorse HP printers. Now we use less expensive HP printers.
