i need to import my clients Form 56 into the 1041.   Can anyone give me the steps required to get the pdf document into my clients file?

I think you are asking to be able to take a scanned form (56 or whatever) and import that into the input of the program. Not going to happen.  The input for form 56 is fairly quick, so just key it in.

This link https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/importing-scanned... and the links on the right side of it show what can be imported.

Answers are easy. Questions are hard!

I don't think that's a form that gets filed with a return.  Were you planning on having the fiduciary sign it, and then scan the signed form?  Generally it is mailed separately to IRS when the fiduciary assumes duties, not just when a return is filed.
