Lacerte is TOO EXPENSIVE but I worry to much about losing my data.

There isn't a Lacerte Cloud version. You can have it hosted in the cloud.
Intuit has ProConnect Tax, a cloud product, which is sort of Lacerte lite.
The more I know, the more I don't know.

It's Intuit. If I worried about losing data before, moving to the storm clouds at Intuit wouldn't put an end to those fears.
