We filed an extension twice. The first was accepted and the second was not (obviously). Now we have a failed transmission status. Is there a way to remove that failed transmission status?

I think you're asking whether or not you can remove the "Failed" label (in red) for the US ef Stat column in your Clients tab. If so, no, this cannot be removed or changed (as far as I know).
This really isn't a problem, though, as if you select the client and press F4, you can see the first extension acceptance confirmation. It's just a bit annoying to see the red text every now and then and panic that you've done something incorrectly.
