    CLIENT DIED 10 YEARS AGO. TRUSTEE RECEIVED A CHECK FROM LIFE INSURANCE CO.

    LAWYER SAID TO OPEN TRUST AND CLAIM ON TAX RETURN. WHERE DO I PUT IT. ISN;T THIS NON TAXABLE INCOME?

    Did they pay interest from date of death?
