When trying to import a trial balance for an existing client via Excel (previous years were QB) into Lacerte it creates a new company for the import file instead of importing directly into the existing client's company file.
The client used QB last year, but changed software. This is the first year trying to import via Excel. Could that create the issue?
Any solutions greatly appreciated.
