Using Lacerte '24, when attempting to request an eSignature for any Partnership, we receive an error saying "You have exceeded the maximum file size limitation".
This is only happening in Lacerte '24, other years work fine. This is only happening with Partnerships, other client types work fine. This happens with every Partnership client file. The option to include a watermarked copy has been tried both ways. There are no pdf attachments to any of the Partnerships. The Primary Option to "Auto Generate and Attach PDFs to EFiles" has been tried both ways yes/no.
Lacerte support asked us to rename some ini files to .old and that did not help. They didn't have any other suggestions, so they asked us to do WebSetup /force using the Lacerte Tool Hub. We went through the complete reinstall with that, restarted our computer, and still have the error.
We can successfully request an eSignature for a Partnership if we deselect the checkbox to include the client copy. And, we can even choose to add the previously printed/saved client copy as a Reference Document within the subsequent step of the eSignature wizard. (They are not large documents.) However, we'd rather not add steps to our process, so we are trying to figure out what is causing this error and hopefully a fix that allows us to include the client copy as usual when requesting eSignature for Partnerships.
