When one install Lacerte 22, among other things, are some notifications about new eSignature features.
One of these is a new "Bulk Send" but other than a less than comprehensive video know one in support seems to know anything. (Video: https://vimeo.com/681450277)
Historically we have only been able to send a single eSignature request to a client per tax year, and support indicates this has not changed. The video shows sending an "Engagement Letter" which we would love to do in bulk. This article indicates not to send "private information". The icons and menu items in item 2 are not present in my current version of Lacerte 2022.
EDIT: The menu paths are correct, however one must start from the Clients tab. I was in the eSignature panel.
Also new eSignature functionality supposedly includes "Flexible eSignatures" which do NOT use KBA for those who have passed authentication in TY21.
So the basic questions here are:
1 - Is this a separate function unrelated to sending the 8879 and others for signature (ie we can send 2 or more)?
2 - For items like an engagement letter (Bulk Send), one should not need Keborse Authentication (KBA) and one would expect the document price to reflect this (I think Docusign is $1.00).
3 - Same question for sending client 8879 etc for signature WITHOUT KBA?
Current pricing is the same for all documents.
Related, Ross Orson has held 2 "presentations" on eSignatures, neither of which are available.

One can register, the "Webinar", it opens, but nothing works.

the later is supposedly "On Demand" but registration is closed.
All this content should be available on Vimeo or the Lacerte site.
