Screen 1, Client Info, Daytime Phone Number defaults to Work. These days it's nearly always Mobile.
How can I change the program default to Mobile?

I can not find a setting to change that in the options.
Once you change it in screen 1, it will carry to next year with that same setting.
This is my suggestion as well. Seems like an easy fix for the programmers!
Also, the default for new clients should go directly to mobile phone number.
The process to get a program change is to add it to the Lacerte Idea Exchange. Users then vote on whether they think it a good idea. Lacerte than stares at these ideas and decides which to ignore and which to implement. Generally it is a very slow process to get a program change.
