Intuit Link needs a social security number to be able to send out an invite to a client.  Is it ok to enter a dummy social security number initially, then changing it to the actual once I receive the new client's information?  Is there any repecussion i

That's not a requirement to use Link but to initiate the process from Lacerte.

To get around that, you can send the invitation from Intuit Link instead.
