FYI - Form 8822 CHECKBOX to "transfer new address to Client Information/Client Organizer when transferring tax return data to next year" DOES NOT WORK. IT DOES NOT TRANSFER. Is there something else we are missing? Clients move during the year after the return is filed with a previous address. We prepare an 8822 for them and generally leave the original filing address as is. But even if the checkbox is marked, the new address doesn't come forward to the next year.
