Can you please provide more info? Type of asset, basis, income from the business activity etc?
Also, consider using Special Depreciation Allowance (SDA) which is located on the Depreciation screen 14 in the Federal Depreciation section under 'General'. If you do decide to use SDA, you shall enter "1" in the override box.
