How do I get only PA sourced income to flow to the PA Schedule E for individuals?

The PA Schedule is pulling in all of my schedule E information but I need it to just reflect the PA sourced income.

Would you care to share more information? Is this a multi-state tax return? What other source is involved? What day of the year is it? Is Winter truly over?

Yes this is a multi state (10 states) return with TX as the resident state.   It has 18 separate "Schedule E" entries on Screen 18 and lots of Passthrough K-1s.  The PA source income is all from Passthrough K-1s but Lacerte is pulling all the Schedule E entries onto the PA Schedule E.  The box "Is the property rental location in PA" is checked "No".

Winter is over in TX!

PA department of revenue says there should only be PA sourced income in Section I and Section II of the PA Schedule E but Lacerte pulls all of my Schedule information into those sections.

Maybe @sjrcpa can help.

While in the input screen for each rental property, look at the top and see what state it is coded to. With multiple state returns it is easy to have the wrong state.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Is there a box on the schedule E worksheet, I believe in the PA module, that says that the rental property activity is not subject to PA tax?
