How are other Lacerte users solving the problem of the IRS's mandate that all 990-T returns be e-filed

The Form 990-T is due on 06/15/2021 (Texas disaster extension date).  Lacerte's message is the issue is trying to be resolved but the deadline is almost here.  I cannot find an alternative.  What are others doing to avoid the 990-T from being filed late?

File an extension

The more I know, the more I don't know.

My understanding is the IRS requires extensions to be e-filed also and Lacerte cannot e-file 990-T extensions.  Will the IRS accept a paper extension?

My Form 990-T was due 4/15/2021.  I filed an extension and I'm still waiting to E-File the return.

I will file the paper extension for the Form 990-T with the IRS to avoid the penalty.  Thank you for your recommendation and solution to the problem!
