How do I correct unknown error when sending signature request for Form 5500?
I found records of someone with a similar situation. Maybe making a Copy of Client will correct the unknown error:
To Make a Copy of the Client:
Highlight the affected client from the Clients tab.
Click on the Client menu and select Copy.
Give a similar client number to the copy of the return.
Delete the original return.
Highlight the copy of the return and from the Client menu and select Renumber.
Type the client number of the original return and click OK.
Highlight the return again and from the E-file menu, select Cancel Signature Request.
Confirm by clicking Yes.
Click on the E-file menu and select Send Signature Request
