FORM 5329 PART IX NOT GENERATING

I've populated the RMD amount from all other plans, Amount distributed to you from all other plans, Amount of RMD shortfall to waive from all other plans, and Taxpayer waiver explanation but the Form 5329 is still not generating. Anyone had any luck with generating Form 5329 Part IX in Lacerte 2024? I've called tech support but got nowhere with them, unfortunately.

So i finally received some assistance from Lacerte Tech Support and was able to generate the Form 5329 Part IX. However, the tax return with the Form 5329 was rejected by the IRS with the following reasons:

Reject: Error F5329-013: If Form 5329, attribute 'waiveTaxOnExAccumQRPStmtAmt' on 'AllOthQlfyPlanExcessAccumAmt' has a value greater than zero, then [WaiveTaxOnExcessAccumQRPStmt] must be attached to 'AllOthQlfyPlanExcessAccumAmt'.

Form: 0(00)
Field: 1(/efile:Return/efile:ReturnData/efile:IRS5329/efile:AllOthQlfyPlanExcessAccumAmt)
Occurrence: 00000(0001)

Resolution: This electronic filing reject is the result of a defect in the tax program. This reject will be corrected in a future release.

Is anyone else having this issue? I have another tax return that has the Form 5329 Part IX completed but not yet transmitted. I am not sure when this issue is supposed to get resolved and not sure when I will be able to re-submit the tax return that was rejected.

This has been reported and addressed. Have you tried updating the software and trying again? Here's How to update ProSeries software. How to perform a force install of Lacerte Let me know.

I'm currently on 2024 Lacerte v. 45.0306. Resubmitted the tax returns and both FED and CA State rejected, with with the same reject message.
