Our client is wanting to e-sign but their e-mail address is apparently too long.  Has anyone encountered this?

That may be an issue with docusign.

Some searching shows this for IRS

That limit is a maximum of 64 characters (octets) in the "local part" (before the "@") and a maximum of 255 characters (octets) in the domain part (after the "@") for a total length of 320 characters.

Curious George want to know how long is this e-mail address? Do they maybe live in TaumatawhakatangihangakoauauoTamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu

A I search found for docusign

  • Reply-to email address
The reply-to email address is limited to 100 characters. Docusign verifies the email format, but not whether the email is active.

I know the type.  Their password is probably only 8 characters.  ("p-a-s-s-w-o-r-d")

I should re-phrase this.  Lacerte does not allow any more characters to be typed in, for some strange reason.  I need 4 more characters to be typed in.  I have never had this issue before. Why would they limit this on an e-mail address?
