Doesn't seem like tribal income should qualify as QBI, but Lacerte is applying the 199A deduction. There doesn't seem to be a way to override this. The income is entered in Lacerte as "other income" (screen 14.1 not income subject to self-employment tax).

I did try and duplicate what you are seeing in Lacerte and I am not able to. I am not getting a deduction for other income. I would make sure that Lacerte is up-to-date:
