    Dependent care credit

    Hello,

I have a return where the Form 2441 is generating but the credit amount is not transferring to Schedule 3 (Form 1040).  MFJ return with both spouses having earned income, 2 children, and more than $16k in expense.  Income well below $438k limit.  Form 2441 shows refundable credit amount of $4,255, nothing on Schedule 3.

    Any thoughts on why?

    Thank you.

I don't know Lacerte but I'd look for a place to indicate they have a place of abode in the U.S.

When you look at the 2441 is box B at the top checked?  Is there an amount in box 10 or 11?

Yes, box B is checked.  There is an amount on line 10.

So far so good.  But if that's not transferring to Schedule 3 line 13g then you may have to call support (or wait for a Lacertian to wander by).
