I'm getting a critical diagnostic when using the extended due for CT individual 2020 return. It says I need to file an extension in order to extend the date to 5/17/21. I don't think an extension should be required.

An extension is not required, but the software is not updated for the new state due dates.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
