Does a CA resident have to report the sale of real property in FL? The property was used as a 2nd home.

A CA resident gets taxed on worldwide income, so yes.

Yes, CA will tax.  I was more concerned whether there's anything I need to file with FL.

No, there's no individual income tax in FL; FL-source capital gain is, therefore, not taxable to FL.
