Is it possible to turn off the 1040- SR function on the Lacerte program. Clients wife who is in her 50's wants a regular 1040 even though the husband is over 65

There is no requirement for anyone to use the 1040-SR. You can simply turn that off by going to Screen 3 and entering 2 on the line for Form 1040-SR: 1=when applicable, 2=suppress [O].
