The following diagnostic is generating: The taxpayer's allowable traditional IRA contribution was assumed to be before 4/18/2023. If the contribution was made after 4/1/8/2023 the contribution is not allowable and corrective measure should be taken. The IRA is not showing up on the client letter Per the CPA the IRS is allowable until October 18th?

In Lacerte, it's an informational diagnostic only.  And as Susan alludes, in CA (except on county) one does have until October.

If the software isn't showing the deduction, there are other issues as the diagnostic doesn't disallow the computation of the deduction.
