The following diagnostic is generating:

Partnership # {PrefixNum} : Employer identification number (EIN) is invalid. A valid EIN is a nine-digit number. The EIN cannot equal NONE or the taxpayer's/spouse's SSN.

1. delete the EIN and exit the screen, then go to the screen and re enter the EIN

2. Check to see if there is an extra "phantom" K-1.
