The following diagnostic is generating: e-file: The Earned Income Credit was claimed for federal tax purposes; Oklahoma requires Form 511-EIC to calculate the Earned Income Credit for Oklahoma purposes. Form 511-EIC is currently under development; this return should not be filed until Form 511-EIC is complete. I am wondering when this update is expected. It is 2/8/23 today and client's tax returns are on hold still for this.

Following.

Following.  The form 511-EIC is currently active on the Oklahoma tax commission site under forms.  https://oklahoma.gov/tax/forms.html

https://oklahoma.gov/content/dam/ok/en/tax/documents/forms/individuals/current/511-EIC.pdf

The diagnostic says that it is under development.  It has now been released on their site so if anyone from support is reading this, please update so we can get our OK tax returns done. Thank you!

Any updates on this? I have clients becoming very upset. I'm a small town firm and cannot afford to lose clients.

Thanks!

I am wondering about this too. Intuit is making us look bad to our OK clients.

I did a manual override to remove e-file diagnostics and e-filed approximately 7 returns before they changed the diagnostic. The manner in which I did this was, menu - E-file, E-file support tools - Disable e-file error. This no longer works, see below.

Now it reads, "Oklahoma Form 511-EIC is not final and will print as a blank sheet with an "Unavailable" notation until it has been released and/or approved by the State & Lacerte (ref #0)"

I know that typically it takes Lacerte up to 10 days to update a form once the state has approved it. The state approved the form, so I can only assume that it will be released by Lacerte possibly by the next update.

I would not override errors since this form is now blank. I am sure that Lacerte is working hard to get it updated.
