In Lacerte, I am e-filing a 2020 990PF. I receive a critical diagnostic with the reference # 56030. It also says "e-file: the 990/990PF return is missing for e-file. Uncheck the box to e-file the federal 990/990PF in Client Information." When I uncheck the 990/990PF e-file box and try to e-file the return, the software asks to convert the return to an e-file return. I say yes and then get the same critical diagnostic noted above.
Solution: 2020 R10 Update: Diagnostic 56030 Generating On All Returns With A 990-PF. This unexpected behavior has been addressed in a program update available Sept, 1st 2021 (Version 41.0901).
