The following diagnostic is generating:
Noncash contributions reported on Form 8283 do not equal total noncash contributions reported on Schedule A. Noncash contributions entered in the Itemized Deduction input screen (screen 25) must be removed and re-entered in the 8283 input screen (screen 26) instead.
Solution:
Noncash contributions have been entered on both the Schedule A (screen 25) and on Form 8283 (screen 26). The contribution only needs to be entered once. If total noncash contributions total to less than $500, remove input from Form 8283 (screen 26) and enter the contributions on Schedule A (Screen 25). If total noncash contributions are $500 or more, remove the input from the Schedule A (screen 25) and enter the contributions on Form 8283 (Screen 26).
Multiple contribution information can be entered by selecting the "Add" button in the Charity box on the left side of the screen in Screen 26, Noncash Contributions (8283). Will not prevent e-file transmission.
