The following diagnostic is generating:
Federal adjusted gross income (FAGI) does not equal New York recomputed FAGI. Certain federal credits must be recalculated for IT-213 purposes using New York recomputed FAGI. (ref.#54946)
Solution:
This diagnostic can appear in many instances where the Federal return allows the $300 cash contributions on line 10b of the 1040. They can usually be cleared by unchecking the box in Screen 25 Code 1421 "deduct cash charitable contributions if taking the standard deduction (forces the standard deduction). This diagnostic does not prevent electronic filing of the return.
