The program doesn't automate the limitation of post 2017 NOL's to 80% of taxable income before taking into account any MOL deduction. You may need to override the amount of post 2017 NOL carryforward absorbed this year so it does not exceed 80% of taxable income limit 9ref #53577) Why in the world do I pay so much to Lacerte to not have it calculate this for me? If all the info is in Lacerte from prior years, why can't it do this calculation. If I override what is there, I am afraid those will not be captured correctly going forward. I should not have to override anything if 10 years of history is in the system, why is this something that the program will not do. This program costs a lot a this is really a disappointment........You may request an enhancement
