The following diagnostic is generating:
Form W-2 #{PrefixNum}: There is a difference of ${W2Diff} in {StateName} withholding between the amount calculated on the return of ${W2Rtn} and amount reported for E-file of ${W2EF}.
Solution:
Have them check Box 15 of the Wages screen and make sure no amounts are entered in the override sections. This diagnostic includes Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, North Dakota, and Virginia and has been in the Lacerte program since TY16. Customers will need to manually delete W-2's or 1099-R's with no current year data input in order to clear the diagnostic. (If they have a delete this year too, this will cause it)
