If any adjustment is needed, please determine the correct code to be used on Form IT-225 and enter the amount on the New York "Modifications" screen. {ref. #44066}
Solution: Review the W-2 screen 10 to determine if the NY wages are different from federal. If not, then there should be no wage adjustment entered in screen 10. If NY wages are different than federal, please use screen 51.091, New York Modifications to make the adjustment so that it will appear on the NY IT-225.
