The IRS e-file specifications requires a PDF attachment of a Form 1098c or Donee Organization Contemporaneous Written Acknowledgement when the donated property is identified as ''Vehicles'' on the Form 8283, Section B, Part I.
Solution: When a vehicle is being donated on Form 8283, a PDF attachment is required to be made with Form 1098C, or a written acknowledgement from the donee. You can do this by going to screen 4.4, e-file Miscellaneous and attaching the PDF there. In the Link to form box, select Form 8283 and expand it to show more options. Select either Form 1098C or Donee Organization Contemporaneous Written Acknowledgement.
