My diagnostics says that I cannot efile this partnership return because partner number 1 has an invalid social security number. I have checked with the client and the number is a valid number and is the number of this partner. The program will not let me proceed with this diagnostic and I would like to know how to override it.
Solution: If the partner is an individual, please review the field for "Type of Entity" in the Partner Information screen 7. It should be selected "Individual" in this field.
