The following diagnostic is generating:

The small employer health insurance premiums credit does not match the sum of all inputs "Reduction for small employer health insurance premiums credit" $ {SEHIP_INPUT} , entered in the Schedules C and F input screens. Review those inputs to ensure health insurance premiums were properly reduced by the credit.

 

Solution:

Follow these steps to verify all required entries are present:

  1. Go to Screen 34, General Business & Vehicle Credits.
  2. Scroll down to the Small Employer Health Insurance Premiums Credit (8941) section.

Required entries for each line are as follows. If any of these columns are missing please review the input:

  • Name or ID
  • Wages Paid
  • Coverage: 1=Single, 2=Family
  • Small Group Market (This can be selected above the grid if it is the same for all employees)
  • Employer Premiums Paid

Using the override fields listed below the input grid may suppress form 8941.
