The following diagnostic is generating:

Form W-2 # {W2Num} : One or more of the state abbreviations entered under the Electronic Filing (W-2 State/Local) section [Series 11, Code 816] is invalid. Verify that only standard postal state abbreviations are entered in these fields.

Solution:

Click on the diagnostic from the Diagnostics tab or navigate to Income>Screen 10 Wage, Salaries, Tips.

 In the Electronic filing (W-2 State/Local) section, verify the state abbreviation is correct for (15) St field for each W-2.

Have you verified all your State data entry?

Go to each W-2, do Ctrl W to switch to batch entry, and look for non-US standard state entry
