For electronic filing purposes, this may cause a reject if the number is incorrect or Form 5471 is not actually a part of the tax return. Please remove the override to allow the program to calculate the correct number, if applicable. This override is in Screen 3.1, Miscellaneous, in the Foreign Operations of U.S. Corporations input.
Solution:
Please go to screen 3.1, Misc Info./Other Info and scroll to the Foreign Operations of U.S. Corporations (Schedule N). Find the field labeled "Number of Forms 5471 attached [O]." Since this field is an override, remove any entry here that may be causing the diagnostic.
