The following diagnostic is generating:

For electronic filing, the NYTPRIN, if applicable, must be greater than 10000000. Please confirm the entry in the Preparer Section of the User OptionsFirm Details.

Solution:

1. Click on Settings.
2. Click on Options.
3. Select the Preparers tab.
4. Double click on the Preparer listed.
5. Verify that the NYTRPIN (New York ONLY) is: 8 digits long and greater than 10000000.
6. Go to Screen 1, Client Information.
7. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous Info section.
8. Locate the Prepared by field.
9. Select the Preparer from the drop down menu (if not already selected).
